What is a TN Visa?
The TN visa provides a valuable pathway for qualified Canadian and Mexican professionals seeking temporary employment in the United States. Under the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), the TN classification allows eligible individuals in designated professional occupations to work for U.S. employers. However, meeting the visa requirements involves careful analysis of the offered position, professional qualifications, and supporting documentation.

Who Qualifies?
You may be eligible for a TN Visa if you:
are a citizen of Canada or Mexico;
work in a profession on the USMCA list (i.e., engineer, accountant, scientist, computer systems analyst, management consultant, or registered nurse);
have the required qualifications; and
have a job offer from a U.S. employer
Benefits of the TN Visa
Approved for up to three (3) years at a time
Can be renewed with no limit on the total number of renewals
